Supporting Education and Comfort: Global Foundation's Impact at Naniba Kanya Ashram Shala
Global Foundation donated 75 two-tier bunk beds to Naniba Kanya Ashram Shala, a school and hostel for 150 underprivileged girls in Gujarat, India. This initiative provided the girls with safe and comfortable sleeping arrangements, essential for their well-being and academic success.
Earlier in 2019, Global Foundation enhanced the school’s learning environment by donating 60 benches with attached desks, underscoring its commitment to quality education.
Partnering with SEWA Rural and Vivekananda Gramin Tekniki Kendra (VGTK), a vocational training center supporting tribal and underprivileged youth, the foundation sourced both the bunk beds and benches locally. This collaboration not only met the school’s needs but also empowered local artisans and businesses.
Through such initiatives, Global Foundation continues to transform lives, fostering education and community development for children in need.
Enhancing Education and Sustainability: Global Foundation's Contributions to Lok Sahyog Trust Chhatralaya
Global Foundation donated essential furniture and accessories to Lok Sahyog Trust Chhatralaya, a boys’ hostel nestled in the picturesque hilly regions of Chhota Udaypur and Narmada District, Gujarat, India. Serving 73 students from nearby villages, this institute offers quality education in a tranquil environment.
The donation included 35 two-tier bunk beds, 35 book racks, 70 cotton mattresses, 70 pillow covers, 70 bed sheets, 70 blankets, and 2 glass-door cupboards, ensuring a comfortable and organized living space for the students.
Partnering with SEWA Rural and Vivekananda Gramin Tekniki Kendra (VGTK), a vocational training center for underprivileged youth, the foundation sourced the furniture locally, empowering artisans and fostering community development.
In 2022, Global Foundation extended its support by distributing 1,000 durable and reusable polyester-cotton bags in Makand Amba village to promote environmental awareness and reduce plastic waste.
Through these initiatives, Global Foundation continues to enhance educational opportunities and advocate for sustainable practices in underserved communities.
Global Foundation's Contribution to COVID-19 Relief Efforts in India
Global Foundation donated $2,500 to Sewa International, USA, to support their initiatives in combating the COVID-19 pandemic in India. These funds were directed toward:
- Distributing 10,000 “Essential Kits” with food, basic medicines, masks, and sanitizers to vulnerable communities.
- Supporting 1,000 orphanages and old-age homes across various cities.
- Shipping 200 oxygen concentrators to assist with critical care needs.
This contribution reflects Global Foundation’s commitment to aiding fellow citizens during challenging times by supporting impactful and far-reaching relief efforts.

Enhancing Comfort at Gram Vikas Mandal School Boys' Hostel, Masa, Gujarat
Global Foundation supported Gram Vikas Mandal School in Masa, a remote village in Gujarat’s Navsari district. Serving children from underprivileged backgrounds, including Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes, the school provides quality education to those with limited access to urban institutions.
To address commuting challenges, the school established the “D. B. Patel Vikas Vidyalaya” boys’ hostel in 2017, offering students essential amenities such as housing, food, books, healthcare, and a clean environment. Recognizing the need to improve living conditions, Global Foundation donated 40 durable steel two-tier bunk beds and racks to the hostel.
These furnishings were crafted by Vivekananda Gramin Tekniki Kendra (VGTK), a sister organization of SEWA Rural. VGTK, founded in 1987, is a vocational training center that empowers underprivileged youth with skills and character education, positively impacting over 3,500 families through local employment.
Global Foundation’s fully funded donation ensured the students of Gram Vikas Mandal School could thrive in a comfortable and supportive environment, furthering their educational journey.
